I SOO have to go to the post office! (Yeah, i never thought i would say that!) But i need the new star wars stamps! And have you seen the post office website lately? Very cool! nice background.

office cube

not a very good photo but a photo none the less. One of the guys in the office went on vacation and when he came back - his cube was magically a pirates ship! The photo just doesn't do it justice at all but it's a hard thing to get a good photo of! Many many cardboard boxes this luxury ship was born! There's even a port hole with a barbie head (you know the kind where you could put makeup on it or decorate it's hair) with a eye patch and pirate hat on! And at the front of the ship - a large photo of one of the girls in the office. All very cleverly decorated. So far he's been back since monday and it's still up - if i were him i'd leave it up. It brings an air of privacy to the cube though i hear it gets quite hot in there. And no - i don't know why there is a mailbox on the side of the ship. Ship to shore mail?

I've had this neth creatures print since Comic-Con this summer and finally got it framed today for my office. Just framing it reminded me why I bought it and love it. I have nothing hanging up in my office currently and need something in there that makes me happy! I shouldn't have let this print sit in my closet so long. I have HUGE empty walls and need to find more things to cover them or somebody to paint cool things on them! If i'm going to stay in there I need help decorating. I wish I had decorator sense in me - or could win a office makeover somewhere. Too bad there's not a show called pimp my office or pimp my cube!

Yes, I know like we all need another tool to create a virtual self - there are tons of these out there but this one is just too cute and addictive! A friend sent me this version of me - so i'm passing along to the tool to you. I love the fact that you can pick between 2 sizes as well.

I think this amuses me because I can totally see this happening since I've seen eagles carry strange stuff off....

JUNEAU, Alaska - About 10,000 Juneau residents briefly lost power after a bald eagle lugging a deer head crashed into transmission lines. "You have to live in Alaska to have this kind of outage scenario," said Gayle Wood, an Alaska Electric Light & Power spokeswoman. "This is the story of the overly ambitious eagle who evidently found a deer head in the landfill."

The bird, weighed down by the deer head, apparently failed to clear the transmission lines, she said. A repair crew found the eagle dead, the deer head nearby.

The power was out for less than 45 minutes Sunday.
